Building on the tradition of Walter Rauschenbusch and Martin Luther King, we are a church that believes that to be a Christian is to stand with the poor, the marginalized, and the voiceless. We turn our faith into actions that lift up those who are being forgotten and to stand up with those who are left out.
For us this can mean taking place in marches, becoming active in the new sanctuary movement, soliciting our legislature, providing aid, or advocating for justice in an unjust world.
